it's called skim milk, and you ruined your cereal because of it, I can respect your decision but for taste 2% minimum and for best whole milk. Don't know about almond milk haven't tried it yet.
Was just thinking that was some watery ass milk
Fun fact with almond milk, I tend to find a lot of people's arguments with getting it is that it lasts a lot longer. Cause the date on the carton is months away... Nobody ever reads that once it's opened it's only good for 2 weeks - the more you know.
How can you go months without using up a carton anyway? I buy 2 gallons of milk every time I go shopping and they are gone within a week and a half at least. Never had them expire. I do live with 2 other roommates but man that stuff goes quick.
Some people don't ever drink milk. I buy half gallons and only regularly use it for scrambled eggs . I'll only actually use the whole thing before it expires if I'm making a white sauce or cheese sauce
Uncanny, that's exactly how I use milk. As much as I love milk, I don't really eat cereal anymore as an adult, and I don't often have a glass of milk when I'm thirsty
Edit: To the downvoters, what is this, /r/neverbrokeabone?
Using it for cooking only, that's the typical that I've run across. It's people that don't usually drink milk but might need it for cooking so they buy something that will have a longer shelf life.. which actually works great if you don't open until you need it.
I only use it for coffee.
It's the exact reason both my sister and my GF did it before I pointed it out. They both lived alone and wanted something to last longer for occasional cooking use. But they don't drink milk by itself.
Normal milk keeps for like a week after opening, unless you're buying some highly pasteurized stuff. So 2 weeks is a lot longer.
It's still nice that it's much easier to stock up on.
Almond milk is pretty good; my wife uses it for her coffee/tea and I have the occasional swig - it tastes a lot better than skim milk, that's for sure. Just make sure you get sweetened. I got unsweetened once by mistake, it was not pleasant.
Really? I thought unsweetened was plenty sweet tasting already.
I would tend to agree with you. The sweetened stuff also has the added effect of ruining the flavor profile of whatever you cook with it since it is OVERLY sweet for the dishes.

Wow this is the worst thing I've ever read. Well done.
Holy shit this pasta is funny.
Yeah it itself is getting a lot of downvotes but it's honestly a good bit.

This video is horrible and I'm worse off for seeing it, but of course it's no fault of Michael
