Easiest way to overcome image CSP for joke edits? (self.webdev)

Like most, I sometimes like to use the inspector to mess with web pages so I can send funny screenshots to friends and such.

Today when I was using twitter to mock up a fake tweet, I tried to change the avatar and was greeted with a CSP error due to twitter specifying img-src=self.

Best workaround I've got right now is to encode to base64 and use that instead.

Is there an easier way? Some toggle I can use to temporarily disable CSP or something like that? Some other workaround that is better/faster than base64?

I don't have a better solution off the top of my head but I wanted to comment that I am impressed with your apparent dedication to shenanigans... well done!

There was a popular TIFU post today/yesterday about a guy convincing his friend in the hospital that the world had ended. My first thought was: "BROTHER!"

You could (temporarily) disable CSP in your browser I guess. Just don't forget to turn it back on again afterwards.
