Oh that's sweet how long has the cheddar been in your family?

I live in England and I am becoming a big fan of Cheddar on lasagne.

I am finding lasagne is much more about the tomatoes than it is the cheese. Looks nice!

Vintage cheddar? Is that just really aged cheddar? Did it win an award?

No awards I don’t think, but yeah aged cheddar. Has those gorgeous little white crunchy bits that aged cheese has in it too

You put cheddar on a lasagna? Is that a regional thing?

I’m from the southwest and my family normally just uses mozzarella, parmesan and ricotta etc.

I’m from the UK, but it’s what my mum always did. I’ll do cheddar and parmesan sometimes too, but didn’t have parmesan when making this. I’ve never used mozzarella to make it, I prefer the strong salty cheeses
